I’ve got the Pure Carbons. First my opinion - then the results.

Opinion: epic fins. Soft on the feet, love the foot pockets. I’m size 10.5 Australian; got the 43-44 and they fit a dream.

Results: I comfortably do 50m underwater in the pools with my plastic Picasso's; but with the Carbons I far, far more comfortably do 75m underwater. So the results were 50% increased efficiency, on top of a more comfortable fit.

Recieved fins fine, packaging was great to protect them during transit. I love that you can pick the color of the rails. Used them to slay rockfish and lingcod in central cali one weekend, then crush limits of Bluefin tuna the next. These fins are excellent.

The fins seem like a great value but if you are a woman with normal to slender feet make sure you order a size smaller or they will be too big. Because of the expensive shipping I did not try to return but instead ordered another set of foot pockets in the correct size.

Very happy with the hard blades. I'm 110lbs and was told to get soft or medium blades, NOT TRUE for me! Foot pockets are larger than other fins. Needed to get socks. Way more power than the fiberglass hard blade fins that I bought at the same time.

Perfect deliver. Awesome fins

All my friends already had carbon fiber or similar fins. My buddy sent me a link for these fins so I could replace the plastic fins I started diving with. I ordered the stiff pure carbon fins and they work great. I'm 6'0" and 250lbs, These fins put me right where I want to be I notice I pop up faster then before and can get deeper faster and with less effort. I let my buddy try my fins and I tried his on one of our dives. He calmed they were a little stiff for him and his legs were getting tired. He is a little shorter and weighs 225lbs. I was skeptical of the foot pockets, not to mention they were blue. After receiving the fins in the mail, I'm very pleased with them, they are very comfortable. I hope they hold up for as long as my Omer foot pockets, they are much better fit.
My buddy ended up buying 2 pair one for his son and one for him, we also have another friend that bought a set at the same time. My friends chose to not put the protective coating, they are both DIY types. I chose to pay the extra $$$ and I am very happy with the professional look and feel it was money well spent.
The only draw back was the cost of shipping, if you have a buddy it is better to order them together, so you can share the shipping. How ever I do fully understand they travel a long way, and it's not cheap. I would not let the shipping get in the way of the purchase. These fins are GREAT!!! Even with the shipping you save hundreds of dollars and these are much better than plastic fins.
