All my friends already had carbon fiber or similar fins. My buddy sent me a link for these fins so I could replace the plastic fins I started diving with. I ordered the stiff pure carbon fins and they work great. I'm 6'0" and 250lbs, These fins put me right where I want to be I notice I pop up faster then before and can get deeper faster and with less effort. I let my buddy try my fins and I tried his on one of our dives. He calmed they were a little stiff for him and his legs were getting tired. He is a little shorter and weighs 225lbs. I was skeptical of the foot pockets, not to mention they were blue. After receiving the fins in the mail, I'm very pleased with them, they are very comfortable. I hope they hold up for as long as my Omer foot pockets, they are much better fit.
My buddy ended up buying 2 pair one for his son and one for him, we also have another friend that bought a set at the same time. My friends chose to not put the protective coating, they are both DIY types. I chose to pay the extra $$$ and I am very happy with the professional look and feel it was money well spent.
The only draw back was the cost of shipping, if you have a buddy it is better to order them together, so you can share the shipping. How ever I do fully understand they travel a long way, and it's not cheap. I would not let the shipping get in the way of the purchase. These fins are GREAT!!! Even with the shipping you save hundreds of dollars and these are much better than plastic fins.

Fantastic Fins. Foot pocket sizing is spot on. Comfortable supple rubber. Hard blades are great. I'm 6 ft tall and 90kg. If there was extra hard id get them next time. beautiful linear and smooth power delivery through blade. I got the protective coating. essential i think. Big gold stickers look cool for something different. excellent craftsmanship. I got a spares kit too. watch the clips on the side. if they get knocked the wrong way they can come off, but its a minor issue. I should have ordered a fin bag to keep them in. A fantastic fin for the price. super fast postage once sent. I think it was 2 weeks to get them made, and they were here within 2 from then. Super impressed. super happy. Thanks Freediver Shop, I will be back!!

i love these fins! I'm a woman US size 6 to 6.5. i heard these foot pockets run large so i bought the EU 35-36 / US 3.5-4.5 fins. i was nervous they'd be too small but they were a little big. i wear them with a 4mm neoprene sock and its the perfect fit!! I'm 5'2" 110lbs i got the soft blade. there's nothing i would change about them

Great fins, totally worth the money! Only bad thing is that there’s a tiny gap between the fin and the foot pocket in one spot which makes it click while kicking sometimes, but it doesn’t affect performance and can be solved with a piece of tape.

I ordered the 11-12 in. foot pocket and they fit very well with a 1mm neoprene fin sock. I ordered hard blades and they are very responsive whether alternate or dolphin finning. I dive in thick kelp beds and the full foot style without straps or buckles never get hung up on the kelp. I opted for the blade protection and recommend it. I mostly shore dive from rock entry dive sites (no beach) and the blade protection really helps prevent scratches. These are excellent freedive fins. They are not rubber fins that can accept a lot of abuse, but the performance they offer is worth the extra care.

I took this one as my first fins, and I enjoy them a lot. Nice quality and fast delivery. Also the support helped me a lot to choose the footpocket size.
The only issue I've got is that I've lost 2 clips to lock the footpocket to a blade in 2 freediving sessions. I'd like to have them holding tighter.
