Nice fit and excellent manufacturing

Fish Tail is my first monofin and I use it in pool for dynamic apnea and in lake and sea for distance swimming to support the pool trainings.
My foot is 265mm long / 100mm wide but all my shoes are 275mm (running, ski boots, casual) so I ordered 270mm/100mm CWT footpocket that proved to be the best choice. I use the fin without socks, spread a bit of silicone grease on my toes and it's perfectly ok for 60+ minutes.
I like the fish tail shape for aesthetic reason but it also proved to be stable in the water. The No.2 softness was chosen because of my weight (73kg) and it's again perfect. I could also go for very soft No.1 but I don't have good enough technique yet so I get more output from stiffer blade.
The manufacturing and shipping took 7 weeks. It is very well made, solid, without visible errors. The heavy duty bag has a bit of padding, protects well but I can still stuff it in the locker (when empty of course :)
I'm very satisfied with the monofin and would highly recommend it.

Using my fish tail in our lakes in the Bavarian down to 30m...and long distances up to 3 Kilometers... so they their job excellent... great product...

Comfy foot pockets, but socks recommended

Generally I love this fin, it is very efficient in the water and really extends my dynamic distances compared to bifins. For me personally, I find that it works better with a continuous undulation, rather than kick-glide, as the buoyancy of the neoprene wing makes it feel a bit unstable/wobbly during glides.
I got the comfort foot pockets, and they really are extremely comfortable compared to several other monofins that I have tried. I can wear these for at least an hour of training without my feet hurting. However, there does tend to be a bit of chafing / blistering around the toes, so socks are still recommended for maximum comfort.
