This is the Leaderfin's Hyper carbon monofin - an ultra hydrodynamically designed wing type monofin.
The monofin blade is made of high quality composite fiber mixed with carbon and fiberglass and is extremely resiliant and re-active, with a 22 degrees angle for optimal performence.
Equipped with high quality soft rubber footpockets which act as extensions of your feet. the monofin is negatively buoyant at the surface.
This monofin is a great choice for finswimming, dynamic apnea and CWT freediving.
All Leaderfins fins are supplied with a one-year warranty for materials and craftsmanship.
Supplied with free neoprene socks.

Comfortable foot pockets, heavy

Great propulsion, however the weight of the fin causes extra strain on the ankles. The footpockets are very comfortable, however, and the fin can be worn without neoprene socks.

Fast, comfortble fin

This is a fast fin which really sends you through the water with every stroke. The foot pockets are made to size and are comfortable for wearing for hours, although you really need full size socks on, not just the half socks that come with the fin. And to get the feet into the fin you really need to oil the fin so the socks can slide in without too much effort.
The foot pockets grip your feet and transmit the power of the stroke, but not so much as hyper fins which are meant to be worn for less than a minute.

I was very happy with the options available for the monofin when placing my order. The monofin is some 4kg, solid piece of work and not buoyant. The socks make up for the slight extra "toe space" so the fin fits very good, as I got one size larger than my freediving fins. The power and drive forward is excellent. I was very impressed by the the friendly price tag and fast delivery to Sweden!

I am swimming with monofins for about 25 years - this is the best fin ever! Excellent gliding in the water, more speed with less power required. Good fitting at the feet, good connection of the power in the legs to the fin.

Easy to put on, enough space for the feet in the pockets.
In the water easy to handle from the beginning. It asks for stylish correct swimming but if you do, its driving you forward very quick without to much power to use. You really are gliding through the water. A very enjoyable feeling!

I'm living in Mayotte and I use every day the monofin, but it's my first time and I prefer again my leader fins carbon, more soft. I need more time to be easy with a heavy monofin.
