Quick Overview

Top quality 100% pure carbon fins from 29/71. Made with a combination of German and Japanese produced aerospace grade carbon fiber. Produced using an innovative Resin Infusion process, allowing the lightest possible blades with superior mechanical and structural performance.

Each blade features 9 layers of different weights and fiber directions, giving the blades an ergonomic, variable flex which is ideal for long ascents while exerting minimal strain on the divers leg musculature.

The blade's unique structural design was pioneered by 29/71 to allow the blades to be soft when finning with minimal effort and stiffen up once greater force is applied, the stiffness of the blades essentially varies in reaction to the energy applied by the diver and virtually eliminates energy loss. Equipped with Cetma Composites S-Wing ergonomic foot pockets and full length elastic silicone railing.

Product Details

Top quality 100% pure carbon fins from 29/71.

Made with a combination of German and Japanese produced aerospace grade carbon fiber.

Produced using an innovative Resin Infusion process, allowing the lightest possible blades.

Unlike the traditional production method of Wet Lay up and mechanical press, Resin Infused blades are compressed prior to the introduction of resin. Each blade spends 30 hours under constant vacuum during production, this technique immensely improves the mechanical properties of the blades and results in superior mechanical and structural performance.

Equipped with Cetma Composites S-Wing ergonomic foot pockets and full length elastic silicone railing which aids in water channeling over the blade and minimizes any resistance of the blade which is common with traditional rubber railing.

Product Questions

How do I choose 29/71 blade stiffness?

Thanks to their unique structure 29/71 blade stiffness levels are designed to compliment different kicking styles and do not refer to the weight of a diver.

0 - Hyper Soft - Is a flex that for advanced Freedivers, its slightly softer that the Ultra-Soft. Its for divers who really want to feel the carbon blade stiffen slowly through the kick. Would be perfect for long pool dynamics and deep Competition Dives.

1 - Ultra Soft - Is the softest stiffness level, best suited for divers with weaker legs or with a very slow and wide kick amplitude.

2 - Super Soft - Is the mid stiffness level, best suited for divers with a strong kick and a wider than usual kicking amplitude.

3 - Soft - Is the stiffest stiffness level, best suited for divers with a stronger kick or a powerful kick with short kicking amplitude

4 - Soft+ - Is the same as Soft except it has an extra layer of T700 carbon fibre in the upper part of the blade to provide a bit more punch for lifting heavier equipment or moving faster underwater.
